We then spent several hours speaking to students at Yazigi English school.  We were pleasantly surprised when the director met us at the door.  What a sweet lady she is.  She gave us a tour and presented everyone on our team with a gift.  The ladies got two gifts!!

It was awesome. These students were so smart and so interested in our lives and our country. They all spoke fantastic English and our team members all had a wonderful time. I had a class that could have gone on for hours. I must say, this was our best visit ever to the school.

This school has helped our children out in many ways and they have allowed us to achieve one of our goals which is to help Brazilians help Brazilians. We can't wait to go back to the school!

Day 3 Monday

We spent the day at the Community Center teaching the children English, feeding them, talking to them and just enjoying being with them. We walked them down the one mile dirt road in the scorching heat (at least it was scorching to me). We talked, raced each other, played tag and had a great time all the way to the village. Of course, when we go there, I was soaked with sweat and they weren't even tired! Team members Rick, Nancy, Carol and Wendy all walked the kids home along with Fafa. It was a great time.
