Of course the children love the toys and stickers and balloons, but all this is really to tell them that they are special and they are loved.

Poor children gathered at church

We did the children's program again in two more neighborhoods. The children met in a local church and we had a blast with them. In two days we have already seen several hundred children. We are already beginning to wonder if we will have enough toys to go around. If a few loaves and fishes can feed 5000, I'm sure God can make these toys go a long way.

We went to a very poor neighborhood and had a children's program complete with songs, fun games, lots of candy, testimonies, and a special gift for each child. It was awesome. Each child left with a smile and something that would remind them of how special they are to God every time they play with it.

Later that day we went to the village that our community center serves and had a special outdoor children's day celebration. Fafa, our missionary, made homemade cupcakes for all of the children and they all received a special gift tucked away in a beautiful handmade cloth bag.  The bags were made by the folks at Majestic Baptist Church in Pueblo West, Colorado.
