Sponsor meets her child

It was an amazing day.  "The children were so so excited to see us."  The day started by unloading 80 large bags of groceries for the families in the villa.  The team will deliver them tomorrow, along with hundreds of toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, lice medicine and so much more for Project Starfish. 

They spent the day enjoying the kids, singing with them, helping them learn English and even got to take them to their houses when they were all done.  The highlight of the day was simply seeing how much improvement the children have made in just a few short months.  One of our team members who sponsors a child said, "It is so rewarding to see the change in the child I sponsor."  That says it all. 

The team finished the day by going to a birthday party for Rosa, the lady who owns the English school that we support.  It was a lot of fun and a real time of fellowship.  The team spent the rest of the evening filling hundreds of bags with toys for Children's Day on Wednesday. 

Keep praying for the team.   A few of the team members are feeling stomach aches and they are all tired already.
