A Big Win for the Kids in Brazil

The Centaurus High School Varsity Basketball team decided to make a huge difference for the children in Brazil.  They received a grant from QWEST called the Leadership Challenge.  Through this grant, they were able to donate $2,500 to MAD Ministry. 

MAD used these funds to purchase a new pair of tennis shoes for all of the children in the Community Center.  We were also able to purchase all of the kids a basin for them to wash in as well as a toy.  All of this was given to the children for Christmas making their Christmas very special!

Donor Highlight - Centaurus HS Varsity Basketball team

We thought it would be nice to spend some time focusing on some of our donors.  Those who give to MAD come in all shapes and sizes.  Some people give large amounts of money while others give smaller amounts regularly.  Some people give out of their abundance, some give out of their overflow, some give sacrificially
and some actually go out and do fund-raising projects to give more.
