New Community Center in the US
starts in January 2008

One of our goals at our US Center is to help the kids learn to take responsibility.  One way this is accomplished is by allowing them to be responsible for most of the jobs that need to be done around the center.  They recognize that the center is theirs and therefore requires that they take care of it!

US Community Center

The first US community center is up and running.  It is very different than our centers in Brazil because the needs are very different.  The center will focus on after school programs, family care, life skills, spiritual growth and community service.  The US community center was donated by a wonderful couple that live in Colorado.  The center exists because of your generous giving.  Your giving funds all of our work here and abroad and we are so very thankful for you.  If you are not a regular donor to MAD, please look over the site and see if you can help us in any way.
